Operation: App Planning

Hi again!! It's Devie here and welcome to my blog. Today I am going to share my learning in our lesson 7 in DTE which is making an app. Our teacher Mr. Carter, assigned us in a group of 3-4 to research and analyse an idea of an app. Me and my group decided to create a chatbot app.

At the moment, my group has been working on "Padlet" and "Coggle" to record the research that we did and the ideas for our app.

Reflection
My group wrote down our ideas about the making of our app on padlet. We made up a question on how will our app work such as What kind of app are we making?, To whom is the app for?, What will be the design of the app?, What are the features of the app?, Are there any additionals for the app?, and etc. After we finalized our ideas, we went to coggle to organize the ideas we wrote on padlet.

Padlet is an app that is used to create an online bulletin board, here you can display your ideas and information for any topic you want. You can also add images, videos, links and more.
Coggle is also an app that you can put your ideas and information together. But this one is a bit different from Padlet. Coggle produces hierarchically structured focuments, like a branching tree.
What I like about these websites is that, you can collaborate with other people to edit it like Google Docs and it is also free to use.

I am happy that I chose the group that I'm comfortable to work with. We are talking respectfully to each other and include the different ideas that we came up with. We often laugh rather than doing work but we make sure that the work is done well.

What I've learned about this is that, students can also make or create something, not only professionals. I've also learnt about being in a group is that sometimes, there is a struggle in every task we do. But when we listen and include to each others ideas, we can do something successfully.
