In this block of learning, I learnt about how Harriet Tubman helped other slaves escaped from slavery to freedom. I have created a poster and here are some fact about her and the Underground Rail Road.

The Benefits of Running For Your Body Ergonomics

Benefits of Running Ergonomics

This blog post is about sharing my learning about ergonomic infographic, which is our first lesson for the Term 1 in Digital Technology (DTE). I've used the website "Venngage" for my ergonomic infographic. What I liked about venngage is that it has a lot of icon to choose for, and what I didn't like about venngage is that you can't save/download your work when it's not upgraded to Premium.
My ergonomic infographic is about the benefits of running for you body. This includes your lungs, heart, muscles, legs, and mind. It tells you how running can help some part of you body.

Reflection:
It was fun creating and editing my ergonomic infographic and I am contented with the outcome of my work. I've learned that venngage is not the only one you can use to make an infographic, and there are more choices for you to choose which is better. For the next time that I will be doing this again, I will improve my work by being more creative and adding more information about it.

Question:
How would you apply this Running Ergonomics on yourself?

Slave Trade Triangle Map

My Slave Trade Triangle Map

What is the Slave Trade Triangle?
Slave Trade Triangle is also known as the Triangular Trading System, that operated from the late 16th to early 19th centuries, carrying slaves, cash crops, and manufactured goods between West Africa, Caribbean or American colonies and the European colonial powers, with the northern colonies of British North America, especially New England, sometimes taking over the role of Europe.

What is the First Passage?
The First Passage was from Europe to Africa. The cargo on this passage was guns and weapons.

What is the Middle Passage?
The Middle Passage is where Africans were taken to the Caribbean and sold. They were bartered for a ship-load of tobacco and cotton.
The rest of the slaves were shipped to the USA and processed for auction. It was here where the Cotton, Tobacco, Sugar Cane and other products slaves produced were put in ships.

What is the Third Passage?
The Third Passage is when all the cotton, tobacco and other products are put back on ships and sent to Europe. Once the ships get to Europe, they are sold. Then more guns and weapons are purchased.

10Mn Class Treaty

Class Treaty

Why do we have class treaty? We have class treaty so that everyone in the class will have to follow it and have to respect everyone.

Why we signed the treaty? To say that we agreed to it.

How is our Class Treaty the same as the Treaty of Waitangi?
Our Class Treaty is the same as the Treaty of Waitangi by signing it the way we sign it.

How is our Class Treaty different than the Treaty of Waitangi?
Our Class Treaty is different than the Treaty of Waitangi because the Treaty of Waitangi has two texts. The Māori version is not an exact translation of the English.
