"My Migration Video"

Note: This video has no sound.

In the video, there is the meaning of Migration and the reasons why people move. This includes the Push and Full Factors, (Cultural, Economic, Environmental/Natural, Political and Social).

What I have learnt about Migration is that it is a worldwide issue/problem and learnt the different reasons why people move.

What I learnt today (Physical well-being)

• Today I learnt about the four dimensions of well-being/hauora:

1. Physical well-being                                            Taha tinana
2. Spiritual well-being                                            Taha wairua
3. Social well-being                                                Taha whanau
4. Mental and Emotional well-being                      Taha hinengaro

• My physical well-being is in great condition.

• The things that I do well to look after my taha tinana are:

1. Exercise my body (stretching and jogging)
2. Give my body a wash (bath or shower)
3. Eat fish, vegetables and drink a lot of water

• This dimension is one of the 4 dimensions that I don't need to work on.

The Snowman and The Snow Dog

1. Did you still understand the story without dialogue? Yes I did! I still understand the story without dialogue.
2. How did the music add to telling the story? The music did a really huge part on telling the story, the music makes you feel different emotions which is related to the story.
3. Write about a scene that you found particularly interesting. I loved and enjoy the scene where the snowman and the snow dog became alive, the music was really heart melting and exciting!

There are lots of things I have to do this term, I need to be focus and concentrated to my learning/studies so that I can get the achievement I want to aim. What I could do is to read more and understand the text deeply, improve my vocabulary, enhance my writing and continuing to boost my confident for what I am doing. I might also do my advance reading now so I can increase my knowledge and to do all of this, I should be prepared and ready.
