Our third action was a fundraising to give a donation for the victims of Domestic Violence. We came across a disabler when we didn't bring enough clothes to change with and when we got wet while doing the carwash.

We feel that this was a good outcome for our third action. We washed 12 cars and we raised a money from it, we didn't expect that it will just take us 2 hours. What enabled us is that Mrs. Toohey helped us organised when and where to do it.
On reflection we think that this was a good way to raise money and it was fun. We are excited to get on to our last action for this project.

ReplyDeleteI liked your team work and will to raise money for the victims of domestic violence. Car washing or just getting ourselves wet reminds me of my classmates in the Philippines, we also enjoyed doing such things to help other people. How did you came up with the idea of washing cars?

It reminded me of when I saw a family who are holding some placards who're also offering a car wash. If Hornby High School gave us an another opportunity to make a difference in our community would you like to do this again?
